Cabin 1 - Kiva's Cabin*

This cabin faces Old Mammoth Road and is surrounded by Jeffrey Pines and what we are told is one of the only cherry trees in Mammoth. It has two bedrooms and the most flexible sleeping accommodations of all of our lodging choices. One bedroom has a king size bed while the other bedroom has two twin beds that, with the use of a special foam insert, can be transformed into a king size bed. This Cabin is a good choice for a family with children or for two couples. There is also a queen size sleeper sofa in the living room area for additional sleeping options. There is a full size updated bathroom with a shower/tub combination.

* Kiva's Story
Kiva spent many summers and falls here at the Edelweiss Lodge with her parents Linda and Dick and her "brother" Bodie. Her favorite Cabin wes number 9 until the stairs became too much of a challenge for her to negotiate. Then she enjoyed the easy access and extra space of Cabin 1. Kiva left for other adventures in the spring of 2004.
